REALTORS® pay dues to belong to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), which offers training, a published Code of Ethics and Standard of Practice that is updated as needed, a lobbying and legal committee to help establish laws to protect home ownership rights across the country and more.

I am a licensed REALTOR® (since 1983) and proud of it. Unfortunately, many people do not know that there is a difference between being a REALTOR® vs. just a real estate agent.
